Ritz is one of the most popular and also among the oldest family-friendly best restaurants in Lucknow. My family personally loves the food, the ambiance and the staff there. We have been going there since I don’t even know when. And it’s worth every visit.

The food is delicious, especially the main course North Indian which we prefer. Other than that the staff is extremely friendly. Plus the entire ambience of the place seems to be really fascinating. They even have live performances of singers and instrumentalists now and then that seems soothing to the ears.

So that you do not get confused – when you reach Mahanagar, you see two Ritz restaurants standing side-by-side. The one listed down here is the one on the right – with a sweet shop in the ground floor. The restaurant is on the first floor. And is purely veg.

If you want something in non veg, you might move towards the left Ritz for great taste in that segment.

Royal Cafe

Royal Cafe is what the name suggests – Royal. In every way possible. The city has a lot of places where the restaurant sits – but for me, this one takes the spot of being one of the best restaurants in Lucknow.

Situated just opposite to Sahara Ganj Mall in Hazratganj, Royal Cafe is one of the most visited place for dinner and family parties for people after a long day of Ganjing!

One of the many things that fascinate me about the place other than it’s ambiance and the taste of the food, is the huge sized Butter Naan (Indian Bread) they serve. It looks and feels massive and tastes really fantastic with both – Paneer as well as with a Chicken gravy.

Aryan Family’s Delight

Aryan was once the most visited restaurant in the entirety of Lucknow for us. With other good restaurants slowly opening up nearer to our place, it slowly began to be a rare visit.

But a few years earlier, when I visited it with one of my friend, I felt it all back in that one bite of their food. It felt so familiar, so – heart warming, you know.

Aryan will always have a special place in my heart and in the hearts of all foodies in the city of Nawabs due to the taste, ambience, the aroma and the legacy that it feels like. It has the taste to bring out lost memories.

Other than the delicious chicken gravy and paneer delicacies, there rolls, coffee and soups also deserves to be tasted at least once in life if you happen to come across this beautiful place.

Also, the Ice Cream Sundaes here look and taste like a fairytale in your mouth! Delicious, flavorful and calming.

We went there recently with our whole family and well – it was a lovely experience for them all. Veg eaters, non veg eaters, sea food lovers, dessert seekers and just the foodies!

As the name suggests, the grilled items in the buffet are the most amazing thing to experience while over here. Also, the welcome drinks and stuff is all great and gives you a classy vibe.
